Happy New Year everyone .....Well I got off lightly at Christmas not a lot of cooking done .....not so tonight unfortunately ! For my night in the kitchen I'm wearing my red Armani frock and as you can see I have a rather large commis chef who likes tasting rather than helping . Earlier today for my shopping expedition eeeek I wore my sensible Next dress.

A friend and I have had a bet , that following our respective breakfasts we couldnt fast for a day...she knows my fondness for cake and I know hers for pudding.....well , following a day of water and a slice of lemon I'm hanging in there. The pressure is on, and it's dog feeding time and I must say the Iams is looking mighty inviting and as for the chews .....

It must be Christmas and I must be living out in the country....today ( and no I wasn't seeing things or been on the mulled wine) I saw four turkeys running down the road . They had obviously escaped from a farm , but good luck to them .....save the Derbyshire Four !!!

Very sad today after reading about the little dog "Pumpkin" who seems to have been left behind at the British Embassy in Tehran. I hope somehow he is found and returned to safety.
