The Olympics has certainly arrived and there have been some very inspirational performances. I enjoyed the gymnastics yesterday and the first GB medal in a 100 years was an amazing achievement . Hopefully the weather will stay fine ( well as good as can be expected) and we can see some great sport.

Carrying on with the Blasts from the past and modern shots , here is a Page 3 picture from back in the 80s. Beverley would always try and link a sporting theme in with a picture so the Olympics would have been the perfect opportunity for that .

Although this picture has a 60s feel to it it was taken today ....during that one moment when it stopped raining !

What a gorgeous week , reminded me of the beautiful locations and fantastic weather I enjoyed on overseas calendar and magazine shoots . This one was part of a set for Penthouse shot in New Jersey in a spectacular house , full of antiques ( just my kinda thing) .

Back to the present and again surrounded by antiques  this is a " Mans Shirt " shot which have always been popular on shoots over the years .

A Blast from the past and one of my favourites . This shot appeared on the front cover of Amateur Photographer .

Taken by Paul Harvey on location overseas.

And in contrast a rainy Donnington Track for one of my last commercial shoots not too long ago. This was for Fuchs / Silkolene . The car was brought up from near Brands Hatch ( and no I sadly did not get to drive it !

Welcome to the new blog ! I hope you enjoy the combination of Blasts from The Past from the page 3 and calendar days , some new pictures and some pictures of my day , or maybe just like these beautiful horses I saw today whilst having tea and a piece of cake .

Thought he reminded me of a bad hair day. He was incredibly handsome and it was a real treat to get close to these.
Im often asked about the old calendar days , so here is a shot taken in Jamaica for Vladivar the Girls on Girls calendar. Whilst we were guided by a professional photographer we did in fact set the shots up ourselves. This one was taken by Carron Martin

A more recent shot which has provoked comments such as can I be your window cleaner is this photo taken at a local stately home .

Something new and a change for the blog. I am often asked about the old calendar and Page 3 pictures. What was the location, who was the photographer , who else was on the shoot with you .....as well as lots of interest and nice comments via the new photographs .....so I thought why not combine both. The new blog will see a combination of older shots , new ones and some up to date news and thoughts. Well actually this is what I am wearing at the moment .A nice glass of bubbly before a meal at the local Italian . I thought I would give my Maxi dress a try , which was bought for me by a friend .

Sunshine !!! Spent a lovely afternoon at Beauvale Priory again , this time I managed a closer look at the ruin which is where I am photographed , followed by a lovely cream tea at the gatehouse tea room . I'm wearing a Dorothy Perkins cream lace dress and wedges.

Well it seems ages since I posted last.....but wellies and rain macs is not always the best look.....

However today I managed to get the top down ( on the car) and drive into the country  hills  for some lunch , fun loving criminals blasting out and the sun on my face.....glorious just how a summer should be .....then of course it rained  !!
