mmmm lovely spring sunshine today , thought I'd wear a sleeveless top and spotty skirt by Dorothy Perkins . Enjoyed a day out in Southwell and looking forward to a jazz night this evening.

Interesting afternoon in Ashbourne watching all the shopkeepers batten down the hatches and board up the windows in preperation for the world famous annual Royal Shrovetide Football event tomorrow. Which can get quite mad to say the least !!! Apparently it's great fun.....To give you an idea of it's origins back in the 12th century , it was played with a severed head !!

Well here I am on a lovely sunny day wearing my purple Gavi wool dress , just before disaster struck........Whilst in Sainsburys going about my normal shopping business a child in a trolley deccided to hurl a 2 litre container of milk at me......you can guess the rest....the child is still alive and Sansburys have a huge dry cleaning bill !
