Yet another birthday bash today , this time it's the turn of my dear old Dad . He just about managed to fit me in between a round of golf and a "boys" (average age 80!!) evening out I wore a black and gold dress by F and F and my ever faithful Zara shoes.

Today I'm wearing a woolly maxi dress by Next as befits the weather , looking forward to an evening relaxing by my log fire after pilates class. Note to self must get fire brigade on speed dial !!

A blustery day today in Derbyshire so my mac and boots by Top Shop came in very handy .....looks like Summer has finally gone and the first signs of Autumn are very much in evidence.

What I can't do without is my log fire

What I can do without is clearing the ashes every day , how very tedious.

Todays sexy fish dish has been replaced by a more frugal cheese on toast due to large vets bill ,(but she's worth it)

Today I wore a Pink Armani shift dress to visit Ashbourne . Another lovely warm day however now I'm about to take the dog to the vets , no doubt chaos and mayhem will ensue , so I need to be changing into a survival suit ....do Armani make them I wonder ?

Very busy today , so missed most of the sunshine. Back in Autumn wear it seems . Hence my grey wool dress by Glamorous .

Lovely lazy Sunday today (after the two mile dog walk that is !) Caught up on all my books and papers . I'm wearing a Pepper Tree floral dress , perfect for lounging around in.

Today met friends off the train who had travelled up from London . Later on we had a BBQ and are now all enjoying the evening sunshine .

I wore a Next outfit for the day and am now wearing an FF dress which is at least ten years old . So does that make it vintage ...maybe ?
